Famous Australians Heroes . World War II was the only ever attempt to invade Australia, Lucky the country was saved by famous Australian heroes but all citizens of Australia say it was far too long for all Australian governments to say thank you. To all the famous WW2 returned veterans, all heroes and predominantly volunteers. All these very famous Australian military soldiers should had at least received a simple thank you for protecting Australian citizens and preventing them from being killed or forced into slavery. Attractive young women in good shape would had been forced to be comfort women to the invaders. Famous Australian soldiers that enlisted in the military risking life and limbs to stop and had to kill the invaders of Australia the allies of the European German Nazis and Italians the Japanese. They were defeated when attacking Australia but if Australians who volunteered at 18 years of age returned soldiers would have been over 90 years of age, very old Australian heroes when they could officially receive a thank you from any Australian government. It took so long for these two simple word thank you because on the 75th anniversary of the end of world war 2 in the Pacific, for the first time an Australian government and retired head of the military the governor general of Australia decided to officially thank Australian WW2 return soldiers. Unfortunately if Australians volunteered and career chosen military soldiers, if join the military at 18 years of age + the 75 anniversary end of WW2 return soldiers the youngest of these Australian heroes would be 93 years of age. Very long wait for these men and very lucky to be alive, most World War II Australian heroes veterans are very old heroes also named diggers. Most had passed away and never received a thank you from any Australian government or military brass. These Australian soldiers all heroes of WW2 very lucky to be alive, could received an official thank you but had to be in the no and apply for this official thank you medal and certificate signed by the Australian Prime Minister of the time and the retired army boss and governor general still in this high position in 2023, but maybe soon Australia will be a republic and the Australian governor generals that have swore allegiance to a King of another country will have to swear allegiance for the first time too and Australian citizen.   Australian war heroes ww2 the Australian Prime Minister Menzies announced Australia’s involvement in WWII 1939. The Prime Minister nickname was pig iron Menzies because he sold lots of iron to the Japanese. Lots of this iron ended up coming back to Australia via Japanese bombing missions the battle of Darwin etc, when the Japanese became allies of Germany and the Italians and entered the war in 1941.   World War II it...
